Privacy

Short version: we collect what we need to answer you, book your stay and get you through the estate gate. Nothing more, and we don't sell or share it for marketing.

Who we are

The responsible party is H2MS Ventures (Pty) Ltd, registration 2024/385258/07, which owns Reelax, Langezandt estate, Struisbaai, Western Cape.

What we collect, and why

• When you enquire (WhatsApp or the form): your name, email, phone number, dates, the number of adults, children and cars, and your message. We use them to answer you and quote for your stay.
• When you book: the full name of everyone staying and each car's registration. The Langezandt estate needs these at the gate 48 hours before you arrive. We never ask for ID numbers.
• When you pay: the payment reference and amounts, to confirm your booking and for our tax records.

This website

• No cookies, no advertising trackers, no Google Maps and no fonts loaded from Google.
• The calendar shows which nights are taken, from our Airbnb calendar. It carries no guest details.
• The enquiry form, when it's on, uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep spam out. The form is emailed to us and not stored on the website.

Who sees it

• Mathieu and Hugo, who run Reelax.
• Our local contact in Struisbaai, only what they need to look after your stay.
• The Langezandt estate security office: guest names and car registrations, for the gate.
• Our service providers: Cloudflare (website and email), WhatsApp, and our bank for payments.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't become a booking: deleted within 6 months.
• Booking and payment records: 5 years, as South African tax law requires.
• Guest names and car registrations for the gate: deleted from our side within 30 days of checkout.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
